In the summer of 2008 I ran ‘Painting and Drawing Summer Workshops’ in landscape and still life, with artist and illustrator Lynne Henderson, who taught flower painting.

These took place at the delightful Cockburn Mill (Co’burn) on the river Whiteadder, in the heart of the Lammermuirs Hills, near Preston, in Berwickshire and have continued annually.

In 2008 the Scottish Borders, Museum Services in Coldstream asked me to facilitate a ‘Big Draw’ event as part of the nationwide ‘The Campaign for Drawing’.

It was focused on the Coldstream Ride-out and took place over three days ending with two huge murals. It has now become a successful annual one day event taking place in October at the Coldstream museum.
